About Dr. Gallousis

Dr. Gregory M. Gallousis is a distinguished board-certified ophthalmologist. Graduating with honors and a Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester, he later earned his medical degree with distinction in research from SUNY Brooklyn - Down State Medical Center.

Dr. Gallousis completed his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Brooklyn - Down State Medical Center and further specialized through a glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University Medical Center. His passion for education led him to serve as a clinical assistant professor at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he imparts cutting-edge knowledge in glaucoma and cataract surgical techniques to budding physicians.

As the proud owner and president of Stamford Eye Associates, Dr. Gallousis continues to provide exceptional eye care services to his patients. He is affiliated with Stamford Hospital, New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mt Sinai, and holds a partnership at the Wilton Ambulatory Surgical Center.
