About Dr. Schonfeld

Dr. Jessica Schonfeld is a board-certified and corneal fellowship trained ophthalmologist. Dr. Schonfeld received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut Health Center and completed an internship in internal medicine at George Washington University Hospital. She completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a corneal/refractive surgery fellowship at Pepose Vision Institute.

She has been in practice for 12 years. Dr. Schonfeld is a cataract surgeon and offers premium intraocular lens technology to correct astigmatism/presbyopia. She also performs pterygium surgery. Dr. Schonfeld is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Russian.

She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology.
