She then pursued ophthalmology residency training at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, followed by a competitive corneal and refractive surgery fellowship at Pepose Vision Institute in Chesterfield, Missouri. Her extensive training pathway and board certification with the American Board of Ophthalmology reflect her commitment to clinical excellence and specialized surgical expertise. Through her membership in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Schonfeld stays current with the latest advances in eye care to provide comprehensive treatment options for her patients.
